Simple and open-minded aspiring event photographer Chan Jan Hoe, first entered into the foray of photography about six years ago, after being inspired by positive feedback from friends when he showed them his work using his very first camera.

Chan is drawn to photography because it captures a permanent memory of any event that has passed. To him, “A photo tells a million stories”. He is more preferring portrait and macro photography, and he adopts an understanding, willingness to learn and accept positive criticism attitude towards his work and tries to be as creative in his style as far as possible.

His philosophy is simple, “Be yourself and make your photos speak a million words and utellize your equipment to the fullest.”
