Chua Boon Keat’s venture into photography started two years ago when he got his first DSLR camera, a Nikon D80. This humble photographer who prefers not to be called one, specialises photographing natural events and weddings. Inspired by the ability photography has in capturing life’s precious moments and emotion,

Chua attributes lighting as paramount in creating a picture perfect environment, as it affects photo composition and sets the right mood. He adds further that wedding photography is not an easy task to master, requiring photojournalism, portraiture, fine art, landscape, sports and sometimes even architectural photography elements as well! “Remember, there is very little or no room for error and the whole thing can"t be repeated.”

Chua remarks about the difficulty involved under rapid changing conditions. Asked to elaborate about his involvement in photography, Chua is quick in reminnissing the advancement of IT in the field of photography. “With the digital camera, pictures for processing and post processing is quick and more convenient now as compared to the days of film photography”, he adds.

Chua Boon Keat passion for photography is not within the boundries of nature and weddings. He also likes taking photos of children, where there innocence & sincerity are visible in their eyes. Their laughter, provides a positive effect in his quest to capture the perfect picture. He hopes his quest to improve as a photopgrapher will someday reach the level he desires......
